How can one get these fancy number plates for cars?

If you want a special number plate for your car, here are the steps you need to follow:

You can register on the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (MoRTH) website as a public user by completing a short sign-up form.
Select your own personalised VIP number plate.
Please pay the registration fee and deposit for the VIP number to make a booking.
After you deposit the fees, you will have to bid for the numbers you want.
You will be allotted a number based on the results of the auction. You must immediately deposit the balance amount after you win the auction.
Make sure that you print your allocation letter after making all your payments after you win the bid.

Some additional details on car fancy number plates

Even cars bearing VIP plates must have special-security registration plates (HSRP).
These HSRPs are made of aluminum. The plates are hot-stamped with chromium and have a hologram and a ten-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Even if you have a VIP number plate, your car's license plate should follow the guidelines set by the Central Motor Vehicles Act of 1989.

Please note that different states have different fees for registering number plates with particular numbers. For example, a plate containing the number 1 is slightly more expensive than the fee for a plate containing the number 2. When you put your money down for a special fancy number plate, it may not be the final amount that you pay for the plate. HSRP is mandatory for VIP Numbers.
